Hardscaping built for Scottsdale.

Owner-led paver, patio, and outdoor-living installs for Scottsdale homes — from McCormick Ranch entryways to North Scottsdale resort-style yards. Edward Steve Bencomo walks every site personally before the bid.

Scottsdale Service

Hardscape that holds up to the desert — and earns its place in the yard.

Amberstone Hardscaping Design has spent roughly eight years rebuilding Arizona yards, and Scottsdale is one of our most active service areas. The work here ranges further than most: full driveway pavers, flagstone-and-concrete patio reworks, artificial turf putting greens, gas fire features, and complete outdoor kitchens. Every project starts with Edward on-site, walking the property and talking through material options before a single number goes on paper.

What we install in Scottsdale

What Scottsdale-area customers say

4.6★ on Houzz across 69 reviews, Best of Houzz 2019, and 4.5★ on Yelp. The themes that keep coming back: Edward personally on-site, fair bids, and dramatic before/after yard transformations.

★★★★★

Edward came out himself, walked the whole yard, and talked through paver options for over an hour before quoting anything. The bid came in below two other paver companies and the install matched the quote exactly.

Our backyard was a mess of broken flagstone and cracked concrete. Amberstone tore it all out and rebuilt it with pavers — the before-and-after is honestly hard to believe. Edward and his crew were straightforward the whole way.

Amberstone is exactly what a small business should be. Edward answered every question, the bid was transparent, and the crew showed up when they said they would. Couldn't recommend more.

Scottsdale hardscaping FAQ

What parts of Scottsdale do you serve?

All of it — Old Town, McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale Ranch, DC Ranch, Grayhawk, Troon, and the North Scottsdale 85255 / 85266 / 85262 corridor. We also cover Paradise Valley by request. If you're inside the Scottsdale city limits, we'll come out.

Are you licensed for work in Arizona?

Yes. Amberstone Hardscaping Design holds Arizona ROC license #311384 as a licensed general contractor, and we're bonded and insured. All paperwork is available at the consultation.

Who actually shows up to my Scottsdale property for the consult?

Edward Steve Bencomo — the owner — runs the on-site consultation himself. That's been the company's posture from the start and it's what customers consistently name in reviews. You'll talk through material options, layout, and budget with the person who'll be running the install.

How long does a typical Scottsdale paver project take?

A standard residential paver patio runs roughly one to two weeks of on-site work. Driveways are usually one to two weeks depending on demo and base prep. Full backyard remodels with multiple elements — pavers, turf, fire feature, lighting — typically run three to six weeks. Every project gets a written schedule in the bid.

Do you do free estimates?

Yes. On-site consultations and estimates in Scottsdale are free. We come out, walk the property, and return a detailed written bid — no obligation.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We work with financing partners for residential hardscape projects. Details are on the financing page — bring it up at the consult and we'll walk through the options.

Ready to redo the yard?

Tell us about the project. Edward will come out, walk the property, and put together a written bid — no obligation, no high-pressure pitch.
